REGINA — Update: Regina Police Service say their ongoing investigation has determined this death to be a homicide. They have identified the victim as 36 year-old Myles Anderson of Regina.
At this time, the investigation continues. Investigators are asking anyone who may have video surveillance from the area pictured below (3rd Avenue to 6th Avenue and Athol Street to Robinson Street) to contact police. Original story: Regina police and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service are investigating after a man was found dead in Regina’s North Central neighbourhood early Monday morning.
Regina Police Service say officers were called to the 3100 block of 5th Avenue at about 1:15 a.m. on April 13. When they arrived, they found a man dead. Officers secured the area and requested the additional resources of the Regina Police Service Major Crime Unit and the Regina Police Service Forensic Identification Unit.
Police say at this early stage of the investigation, there are no further details that will be released to the public. They also say they will not release the victim’s name at this time.
