SASKATOON — An 18-year-old man is facing multiple charges following a robbery Monday night.
Police say officers responded to a report of a robbery in progress at a business in the Dundonald area in the 1600 block of 33rd Street West. Call information outlined that a man had robbed the business with a knife.
While responding, officers were receiving updates on the suspect’s location and a man matching the description was eventually located walking through a park in the 1300 block of Faulkner Crescent. Officers arrested the man without further incident.
Police searched the man and located a knife and merchandise believed to belong to the business. As a result, the 18-year-old man has been charged with robbery and carrying a weapon for the purpose of committing an offence.
