ESTERHAZY — A new court date has been set for one of two people arrested after a drug and weapons bust in Rocanville.
Echo Tacan, 24, was in Esterhazy Provincial Court on April 14, where she was remanded in custody for a bail hearing in Moosomin on April 28.
On March 26, Moosomin RCMP received a request for a well-being check on a person in a parked truck in Rocanville.
Police say both suspects were subjects of arrest warrants, and the truck they were travelling in had been stolen from Virden.
A search of the truck turned up a firearm, ammunition, about 56 grams of crystal meth, 43 grams of cocaine, 47 grams of fentanyl and 340 pills.
