SASKATOON — Saskatoon police are investigating after two people were sprayed with bear spray while getting off a city bus on the west side Wednesday afternoon.
Officers were called to the area of 23rd Street West and Avenue H North for a report of an injured person at around 2:45 p.m. on April 15. When they arrived, they found two victims. One was suffering the effects of bear spray.
Further investigation revealed that the victims had been riding a city bus when it stopped at a bus stop at 23rd Street West and Avenue H North. As the victims began to exit, they were bear sprayed by two unknown suspects who were also exiting the bus. The suspects then fled the area.
Members of patrol are continuing to investigate.
