At one time many of us had highway and grid road maps in our vehicles to figure out where we were going when we were in an unfamiliar territory. Trying to fold those maps back to their original condition was usually the most difficult part. Today, most of us just plot our journey on Google Maps. It gives us multiple routes, the estimated length of time, and even street and highway views.
