The family has asked that an update be provided regarding the condition of a five year old girl who suffered life threatening injuries in an attack that also claimed the lives of her older brother and her grandparents.
Prince Albert RCMP say 5 year old Kendrah is recuperating in hospital in Saskatoon after several weeks in hospital in Edmonton. Heather, Kendrah’s mother, says her daughter has been nicknamed “One Tough Cookie” during her stays in multiple hospitals.
“She’s done so well,” Kendrah’s mother says. “The whole family is excited for her to come home. We are amazed at how strong and determined she is.”
Kendrah has endured eight surgeries since the violent incident. Prince Albert Police were called March 29th to a home at 315 MacArthur Drive after friends and family went to conduct a well-being check. 56 year old Denis Carrier, 56 year old Sandra Henry and 7 year old Bentlee were found dead.
28 year old Nathaniel Carrier has been charged with three counts of 1st Degree Murder and one count of Attempted Murder. Prince Albert Police say Nathaniel is the son of Denis and Sandra and father to Bentlee and Kendrah.
