NO, this is NOT a fashion shoe blog!!
Saturday, May 2nd will be an exciting night as Pump Couture takes over the Conexus Arts Centre in Regina. Pump Couture is more than the style and poise on the runway, this evening supports sending children living with type 1 diabetes to Diabetes Canada’s D-Camps program, Camp Kornder. Models walk the cat-walk, show off some fashion, showcase their wearable technologies on the runway, models will also share their unique stories. The website has posted the stories and how you can make donations to your model of choice. https://pumpcouture.crowdchange.net/regina-models
Hartley and Dustin Halvorson stopped by CKRM studios for a chat about this event. Hartley is keen to be involved in the event and in the posted interview you’ll hear how important and informational this evening will be. The new technology that is part of current Type 1 Diabetics gives a new sense of freedom to those that have been diagnosed.
Pump Couture hold events across Canada from April until June. Cities that hold the event include: Vancouver, Calgary, Regina & Winnipeg, as well as Toronto and Halifax. Again a vist to the website gives you all the information you need. This is also a wonderful way to connect with families or individuals that are working with a diabetic diagnosis.
