REGINA — One of three people charged in a violent robbery on Regina’s 5th Avenue is due back in court next week.
Ronald Pewean is scheduled to appear in Regina Provincial Court on May 1. He faces a robbery charge related to the June 2025 incident where a victim sitting in his vehicle was assaulted and robbed by three people.
Co-accused Amanda Blueyes, charged with robbery and failing to comply with a probation order, failed to appear in January and there is a bench warrant for her arrest.
The third accused, Jonas Obey, was charged with robbery, possession of a weapon and two counts of possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order. He was sentenced earlier this year to 222 days in jail and given a lifetime firearms prohibition.
