REGINA — Police have charged a second person in connection with a homicide that happened earlier this month.
On April 27, Regina Police Service arrested 26-year-old Jordan Goodpipe and charged him with second-degree murder in the death of 36-year-old Myles Anderson of Regina.
Anderson was found injured in the 3100 block of 5th Avenue at about 1:15 a.m. on April 13. Officers responding to the scene began life-saving measures, but EMS later pronounced Anderson dead. The Regina Police Service Major Crimes Unit, the Regina Police Service Forensic Identification Unit and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service were all called in to investigate.
Goodpipe is scheduled to make his first court appearance on the charge in Regina Provincial Court on April 28.
His arrest follows another one days earlier. On April 24, police executed a search warrant at a home in the 1600 block of Toronto Street, where they arrested 29-year-old Blayne Okemaysim. He is also charged with second-degree murder.
