The Saskatchewan Roughriders have added another name yet to their competition for spots on the 2026 offensive line, announcing Monday the signing of American OL Thomas Perry.
Listed at 6-foot-3, 312 pounds, Perry will come to Riders rookie camp after attending rookie mini-camp workouts with the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers in 2025.
Perry went undrafted at the 2025 NFL draft despite reports of a strong showing at the East-West Shrine Bowl last January, where he was the only NCAA Division III player in attendance and played centre after spending his entire collegiate career at guard.
He previously spent four seasons (2021-24) at Middlebury College in Vermont, dressing for 34 games and starting the final 30 of his collegiate career.
He was a first-team All-New England Small College Athletic Conference selection in 2022, 2023 and 2024. In his senior year he was also named to the Division III Walter Camp and American Football Coaches Association All-American teams.
