The province have issued two emergency advisory alerts on Sunday for the RM’s of Torch River and Garden River due to a wildfire burning in the area.

The province is asking residents to close windows, doors and vents. The fire had forced some residents of the James Smith Cree Nation to be evacuated, but those told to leave have reportedly returned home.
