The Saskatchewan Roughriders have added size and experience to their offensive line, signing American lineman Percy Lewis IV.
The 6-foot-8, 380-pound blocker spent his senior season with Ole Miss Rebels football, appearing in 15 games. Lewis played a key role up front, helping pave the way for All-American running back Kewan Lacy, who rushed for 1,567 yards — third in the NCAA — and led the SEC with 24 touchdowns.
Before transferring to Ole Miss, Lewis suited up for Auburn Tigers football in 2024 and spent two seasons with the Mississippi State Bulldogs football from 2022 to 2023. Across his collegiate career, he appeared in 37 games and made 13 starts.
In 2023, Lewis took over as Mississippi State’s primary left tackle, logging 431 of his 437 snaps on the blind side. He allowed just two sacks and four quarterback hurries all season, earning All-SEC Honourable Mention honours. He also proved durable, not missing a game during his time with the Bulldogs.
A native of Sallis, Mississippi, Lewis began his college career at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, where he was ranked the top junior college player in the state.
The Roughriders continue to bolster their roster ahead of the upcoming CFL season with the addition of the towering offensive lineman.
