REGINA — Here are some traffic tips for Regina drivers to watch out for.
Argyle Street N – Rochdale Boulevard to Sangster Boulevard
April 29-30, there is work happening on the centre boulevard, resulting in a lane restriction.
Saskatchewan Drive – Lorne Street to Hamilton Street
April 28-30, there are lane restrictions for sign installations.
11th Avenue – McIntyre to Albert Street
April 27 to May 1, lane restrictions are in place to allow for the south side of the street to be closed to install water main valves.
Here are some longer-term restrictions:
11th Avenue Revitalization Project
Residents should expect moving traffic restrictions along 11th Avenue as work moves east to west beginning on Scarth Street.
Victoria Avenue East – Zinkhan Street to Tower Road
Until June 1 at 6 p.m., there will be a westbound lane restriction and speed reduction to extend a watermain. Work began April 20.
Lakeview Avenue – Queen Street to McIntosh Street
Until June 8, there will be a full road closure to complete concrete replacement and paving. Work began April 27.
Sherwood Drive – 7th Avenue North to Williston Drive
Until June 24, there will be lane restrictions to allow for pavement repairs. This will be a phased approach to allow for better traffic flow. Work started April 27.
Froom Crescent – Vaughn Street to Cushing Crescent
Until July 3, there will be lane restrictions for open pits to reline existing watermains. Lane restrictions will only occur around the pits. Work began April 28.
McCarthy Boulevard – Mikkleson Drive to 4th Avenue
Until July 31, there will be lane restrictions to allow crews to clean and reline a sewer main. See Regina.ca/Southwest for details. Work started April 27.
Reynolds Street – 19th Avenue to Broadway Avenue
Until Aug. 28 at 5 p.m. there will be road closures on a block-by-block basis to install new storm water mains, water main replacement, curb and sidewalk replacement and roadway reconstruction. Work began March 30.
College Avenue – Angus Street to Albert Street
Until Aug. 31 there will be a lane restriction on the northside curb lane. Work began March 20.
Albert Street North – Bridge over Ring Road
Until Oct. 31 two-way traffic will be diverted to the southbound bridge for bridge reconstruction. The northbound exit ramp onto Ring Road eastbound will also be closed. Work began March 23.
