FORT QU'APPELLE – A new court date has been set for a male teen arrested in connection with a death on the Star Blanket Cree Nation.
On Feb. 18, File Hills First Nations Police Service was called to a report of a homicide at a home on Star Blanket.
They found an adult male dead, and arrested a male teen at the scene.
Police note the accused and the victim were known to each other.
The boy, who can't be named due to his age, was in Fort Qu'Appelle Provincial Court April 30, charged with second-degree murder, and he was remanded in custody to May 7.
