Wadena RCMP are asking the public for help locating 46-year-old Michelle Quewezance of Yellow Quill First Nation, who is wanted in connection to multiple investigations.
Police say officers first received a report of a theft on April 29th at around 11:30 a.m. in Wadena, where a bank card was allegedly stolen from a residence.
Later that same afternoon, around 1 p.m., officers responded to a separate report of a break-and-enter at another home in the community. Investigators say a woman entered the residence and rummaged through the home. Police continue working to determine whether any items were stolen.
As a result of the investigation, Michelle Quewezance is charged with theft under 5-thousand dollars and break-and-enter.
RCMP say a warrant has been issued for her arrest.
Quewezance is described as five-foot-eight, approximately 140 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Police say she has multiple tattoos, including a heart on her left hand and feather tattoos on the left side of her face and right forearm.
She is also wanted on two separate warrants from Rose Valley RCMP related to a probation violation and another theft investigation.
