SASKATOON — Saskatoon Police arrested and charged a man following two bear spray incidents on city buses on Sunday.
On May 3, at approximately 1:10 p.m., police received a weapons call in the area of 20th Street West and Avenue M South. It was reported that a male discharged bear spray on a city bus. Then shortly after, another call came in reporting that a male on a separate city bus in the 3100 block of Laurier Drive had discharged bear spray.
Officers located and arrested a 23-year-old man who has now been charged with mischief under $5,000 and carrying a weapon dangerous to public peace.
