The original 620 CKRM Country Cookouts have returned for spring 2026. Our first excursion to a farm on Tuesday took us to the Ewoud and Arnette Denboer farm of Strasbourg who arrived in Saskatchewan four years ago from Alberta. Prior to living in Alberta they were born and raised in Holland. Together, they have six children and multiple dogs and cats.
With the help of Nicky’s Cafe and Catering in Regina we were able to supply a meal of roast beef, potatoes, salad, fresh buns, vegetables, and dessert. Drinks were courtesy of Last Mountain Distillery and Original 16.
