SASKATOON — Police have identified the man whose body was recovered from the South Saskatchewan River earlier this month, and say his death isn’t considered suspicious.
Saskatoon police were called to the area of Sturgeon Drive and Spadina Crescent East at about 9 a.m. on May 1, after reports of a body in the water. Patrol officers located an unidentified man when they arrived.
Police say the person has been identified and the next of kin have been notified.
