SASKATOON — A 19-year-old teen was hospitalized late Sunday after a machete assault in downtown Saskatoon, according to the Saskatoon Police Service.
At approximately 11 p.m., May 10, police received a report of an injured person at 22nd Street East and 1st Avenue North. Upon arrival officers located the 19-year-old man suffering from a number of slash wounds. He was taken to hospital for treatment.
He reported being assaulted by two men. Both suspects are described as being about 20 years of age and wearing all black clothing. The first suspect is also described as approximately 5-foot-9 and wearing a green hat.
