SASKATOON — Several people were treated for the effects of bear spray after it was discharged outside a west side Saskatoon school Wednesday morning.
Police say the incident happened shortly after 9 a.m. on May 20 at a school in the 2200 block of Rusholme Road. When officers arrived, they found multiple individuals suffering exposure to the spray. Members of the Saskatoon Fire Department provided treatment on scene, and all affected individuals were released afterward at the scene.
The suspect fled the area prior to police arrival but has been identified and is known to one of the victims.
