HARLAN — Lloydminster conservation officers are asking for the public's assistance after locating items April 20 that they say were unlawfully disposed of along grid 797 north of Harlan.
According to a May 22 message on the Sasktip Facebook page, conservation officers observed articles of men’s clothing that are extra large and double extra large, along with women’s clothing, two medium-sized duffle bags, personal belongings such as toiletries and household garbage. Specific evidence located by the officers included an Onion Lake Minor Hockey Association medal for 2014-15, and an article with the name Jaron.
Although evidence was collected at the scene, the Sasktip post said conservation officers are requesting the public’s assistance in locating the individual(s) involved.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Turn in Poachers and Polluters (TIPP) line at 1-800-667-7561 or report online at saskatchewan.ca/TIPP. People don’t have to give their name, and they might be eligible for cash rewards through the Sasktip Reward Program.
