YORKTON — Two people arrested after a drug and weapons bust in Rocanville have appeared in court again.
Shelby Ducharme, 29, and Echo Tacan, 24, were in Yorkton Provincial Court May 22, where they were remanded in custody for their trial in Moosomin next January.
On March 26, Moosomin RCMP received a request for a well-being check on a person in a parked truck in Rocanville.
Police say both suspects were the subjects of arrest warrants, and the truck they were travelling in had been stolen from Virden.
A search of the truck turned up a firearm, ammunition, about 56 grams of crystal meth, 43 grams of cocaine, 47 grams of fentanyl and 340 pills.
