The Flin Flon Bombers will celebrate a historic Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League Hall of Fame class during the 2026-27 season as several legendary individuals and one championship team are set to be honoured during the franchise’s 100th season.
Headlining the class is longtime Bombers Head Coach Mike Reagan, whose legacy with the organization spans nearly three decades as both a player and coach.
A Flin Flon product, Reagan played 239 career games with the Bombers from 1996 to 2000, still the most in franchise history, while recording 205 points. Behind the bench, Reagan has become the winningest coach in Bombers history with more than 600 victories and has never missed the playoffs during his tenure. His crowning achievement came this past season when he guided the Bombers to their first SJHL championship in 33 years. Reagan was also named the SJHL and CJHL Coach of the Year in 2023-24 and has helped more than 40 players earn NCAA Division I scholarships.
Joining Reagan in the Hall of Fame player category are former Bombers stars Rob Beck and Tim Madarash.
Beck starred with the Bombers from 1990 to 1993, recording 93 goals, 128 assists, and nearly 400 penalty minutes in 177 games. Known for combining offensive talent with toughness, Beck later continued his hockey career at Merrimack College in the NCAA.
Madarash becomes a Hall of Famer after one of the most productive careers in franchise history. Over 227 games, he piled up 147 goals and 178 assists while also collecting 735 penalty minutes, establishing himself as one of the toughest and most dangerous forwards of his era.
The legendary 1992-93 Flin Flon Bombers team will also be inducted after capturing both the SJHL championship and Anavet Cup before advancing to the Centennial Cup in Amherst, Nova Scotia. Coached by Norm Johnston and Mel Pearson, the club defeated the Melville Millionaires and Dauphin Kings in a dramatic seven-game series during an unforgettable playoff run.
In the builder category, longtime volunteer and board member Larry Feszczyn is recognized for more than 30 years of service to the organization. The Bombers say his dedication behind the scenes helped keep the franchise strong and stable for generations.
Also entering the Hall of Fame is longtime play-by-play broadcaster Rob Hart. For more than 25 years, Hart has served as the voice of the Bombers, calling countless memorable moments while becoming one of the organization’s most recognizable ambassadors.
The SJHL Hall of Fame weekend will take place September 25th and 26th in Flin Flon during the Bombers home opener weekend. Festivities will include the raising of the 2026 championship banner, an alumni game, and the Hall of Fame ceremony hosted by ESPN broadcaster and former Flin Flon resident Leah Hextall.
