REGINA — The Regina Public Library (RPL) central branch has reopened.
According to the RPL’s social media, the central branch has been open as of 9:30 a.m. on Monday.
The branch closed down on Friday at 2 p.m. due to its air conditioning not working.
Without the air conditioning, the RPL cited safety risks due to the inability to control the indoor temperature.
Holds at the central library have also been extended until June 4 due to unforeseen circumstances.
