YORKTON — A new court date has been set for one of two men facing kidnapping and drug trafficking charges arising from an incident in Yorkton.
Parteek Sandhu, 24, of Etobicoke, Ont., was in Yorkton Court of King's Bench May 29, where he had his matters adjourned to July 17.
In July 2024, Mounties searched a business in Yorkton as part of a drug trafficking investigation.
They then searched a rural property south of the city and located a severely injured, forcibly confined man inside a barn.
