REGINA — One of the three people charged in the death of Thomas Husli-Haygarth has been released from custody.
Toni Moffat, 22, who was charged with second-degree murder in October 2025, is out on bail. She is scheduled to return to Regina Provincial Court in October for a preliminary hearing to determine whether there’s enough evidence for her to stand trial.
Andre Smith, 24, is charged with second-degree murder. He appeared in court on June 1 and was remanded. He is due back in court on June 15, where his charges are expected to be spoken to.
The third accused, Marshall Cote, 20, is charged with second-degree murder. He appeared in court on May 15, was also remanded, and is scheduled back in court on June 5.
According to Regina Police Service, officers found Husli-Haygarth dead in central Regina in the 100 block of College Avenue after responding to a call for service at approximately 4:30 a.m. on Oct. 13, 2025.
