WILKIE — The Wilkie RCMP responded to the following calls during the week of May 26 to June 1.
RCMP received a complaint of a stolen licence plate, but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.
Members spoke to an individual regarding internet safety.
Police received a complaint of fraud. This matter is still under investigation.
Members attended the sudden death of an 88-year-old man from Wilkie. The death was not suspicious in nature.
RCMP issued a three-day roadside suspension during a traffic stop.
Members acted as a mediator between a landlord and a tenant.
Police received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members transported the subject of complaint to Battleford Union Hospital for assessment.
RCMP received a complaint of theft, but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.
Police received a complaint of an unwanted individual at a residence. Members attended, but the individual had left the premises.
Members received a complaint of disturbing the peace. The subject of the complaint agreed to leave the premises.
RCMP received a Mental Health Act complaint. Members transported the subject of complaint to Battlefords Union Hospital for assessment.
Police received a complaint of assault. This matter is still under investigation.
A 43-year-old woman from Wilkie was charged with being unlawfully in a dwelling house and two counts of assault after members received a complaint of assault.
Members are investigating a complaint of a break-and-enter at a grain elevator.
There were also three traffic complaints and two false 911 calls.
