FORT QU'APPELLE — Update 2, June 4: On June 3 at approximately 2:50 p.m., Fort Qu’Appelle RCMP received a report of a motor-vehicle collision between a heavy-duty truck and a car on Highway 10, southwest of Fort Qu’Appelle.
Officers responded along with local fire and EMS.
The sole occupant of the heavy-duty truck reported no physical injuries to police.
The driver and passenger of the car were both transported to hospital by STARS and EMS respectively, with injuries described as serious in nature.
Fort Qu’Appelle RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
Update, June 3: Highway 10 has now reopened.
Original post, June 3: Fort Qu’Appelle RCMP are currently on the scene of a motor vehicle collision on Highway 10.
As this investigation is in preliminary stages, police say they do not have additional details to share at this time.
The highway is currently closed for an undetermined amount of time. Traffic has been rerouted through the town of Fort Qu’Appelle. Motorists should expect delays in the area. Please slow down and follow the instructions of emergency personnel on scene.
