The Saskatchewan Roughriders will host the BC Lions in their home opener at Mosaic Stadium on June 13th. So, what’s planned that day? Karina Peterson, Manager, Game Entertainment and Community joined 620 CKRM to discuss what’s planned on June 13th.
“What better way to start off the 2026 season than to unveil the 2025 Grey Cup banner, which will be really fun,” noted Peterson.
The new Coors Light Tailgate Party will be starting five hours before kickoff with the beer gardens opening up three hours before kickoff. The party in the park has also been rebranded to the Security Building Supplies Riderland Park, which will be more of a family zone. It’ll open up three hours before kick off.
“When we look at that tailgating area, we’ve obviously got the cars and the setup spaces that they’ll be setup in, but there’s tons of aisles and opportunities for other fans to come and engage in that area as well,” explained Peterson.
She added the Roughrider organizations plans to have fun competitions where fans can vote on which stall was their favourite.
Kick off for the game on June 13th is at 5pm. As with all the games, it will be broadcast in 620 CKRM starting with the Countdown to Kick-off Show at 2pm. Some tickets remain for the game by CLICKING HERE.
