REGINA — A Regina man arrested in connection with a forcible confinement case on White Bear First Nation has appeared in court again.
Braiden Hotomani, 28, was in Regina Provincial Court June 11, where he was remanded in custody until June 23 for a bail hearing.
On May 24, Carlyle RCMP were called to White Bear First Nation following a report of a man who had been forcibly confined, threatened with a firearm and repeatedly assaulted.
The victim was able to escape and was treated for injuries described as non-life-threatening.
After the suspect was arrested, police say they seized an axe and a handgun.
