REGINA — A 27-year-old man has been charged after police say he exposed himself to members of the public at a busy downtown city intersection on Wednesday evening.
The man was arrested around 6:45 p.m. on June 10 when officers responded to a report of an indecent act near a bus stop at the intersection of Victoria Avenue and Broad Street. The caller reported that a male suspect, wearing a bathrobe over pants with no shirt underneath, was exposing himself to passersby.
When officers arrived moments later, they located the suspect at the intersection of 14th Avenue and Broad Street. As officers approached, the suspect fled but was quickly taken into custody without incident.
He will make his first appearance on these charges in Regina Provincial Court on July 15.
