MELVILLE – Two of three people arrested in connection with an armed robbery in Melville were scheduled to appear in court again.
Maija Eashappie, 33, of Regina, failed to show up in Melville Provincial Court June 16, so a warrant was issued for her arrest.
Tyrone Sayer, 44, of Regina, did appear in Melville Provincial Court June 16, where he was remanded in custody to July 6.
On May 22, Melville RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence on 2nd Avenue East in relation to an incident that had occurred the day before.
It was reported that a man had robbed an individual, assaulted them, and discharged a firearm.
A search of the residence turned up two BB guns, a magazine, ammunition, cash, and a small amount of crystal meth and cocaine.
Police also found two bicycles reported stolen from a Melville business.
