NORTH BATTLEFORD – Update, June 16, 3:24 p.m.: On June 16 at approximately 2:15 a.m., Battlefords RCMP received a report of a single-vehicle rollover on Highway 4, approximately eight kilometres south of North Battleford.
Officers responded along with local fire and EMS. Both occupants of the vehicle were transported to hospital by EMS with injuries described as non-life threatening in nature.
Highway 4 was reduced to one lane for the initial investigation, but both lanes are now open.
Battlefords RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
Original post, June 16, 4:16 a.m.: Battlefords RCMP are currently on the scene of a serious collision on Highway 4, approximately eight kilometres south of North Battleford.
As this investigation is in preliminary stages, police do not have additional details to share at this time.
The traffic on Highway 4 is reduced to one lane. Motorists should expect delays in the area. Please slow down and follow the instructions of emergency personnel on scene.
