PRINCE ALBERT — A woman was taken to Victoria Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after being struck by a car on Tuesday.
Prince Albert Police responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian on June 16, at approximately 1:52 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the area of 24th Street West and 10th Avenue West following reports of a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian. The roadway was temporarily closed while police conducted their investigation.
Investigators determined that an adult female pedestrian had entered the roadway and was hit by a vehicle. Police determined that vehicle speed was not a contributing factor in the collision.
Members of Patrol and the Forensic Identification Section attended and investigated the incident.
At this time, police say no charges are anticipated in relation to the collision.
