Blake Berglund is no stranger to 620 CKRM. He’s been playing venues for a long time with some rock, country and everything that is salt of the earth mixed in with a certain amount of “what the hell is happening here? ” lyrics. Blake has come along to our Country Cook-outs over the years and cuts a swath with stories and recollections. What I’m saying is, you can get very caught up in the conversation and today was no different. So, if you heard us, we might have gotten a bit long winded. Here’s another version of that conversation talking about creating your own record label, finding talent, showcasing that talent by making a video and promoting someone that you hope will go far. When it comes to showing an artist the ropes, Blake and his wife recording artist, Belle Plaine. are probably good folks to start with!!
This event takes place at the Artesian on 13th Avenue, Regina on Friday, June 19th. Tickets are general admission. Doors open at 7pm – Show at 8pm. Advance tickets are available until 5pm day of show. Then tickets at the door unless Sold Out.
