A 28-year-old man is facing a dozen charges connected to five downtown business break and enters.
The Regina Police Service says between November 5-11th, five businesses along Broad and Hamilton Streets were broken into.
On Tuesday evening, officers found a man leaving a business in the area of 14th Avenue and Broad Street who matched the description of a suspect in the recent break and enter cases.
The man was detained and police found a hatchet concealed on his person. RPS says he was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon and further investigation led to evidence that linked him to the break and enter incidents.
Tyson Ledoux is facing 12 charges including four counts of break and enter and commit theft, two counts of wearing disguise in the commission of offence and carrying a concealed weapon.
Ledoux made his first court appearance on Thursday morning.
