SASKATCHEWAN — A 24-year-old man who violated his parole conditions is believed to be in Saskatchewan, according to Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers. Keaston Pambrun’s last known location is Calgary, Alberta.
Pambrun was denied full parole by the Parole Board of Canada on Dec. 4, 2025, and had strict conditions imposed on his statutory release. The Board cited his “problematic institutional conduct” and lack of a viable release plan as factors in their decision.
Pambrun was serving a sentence of three years, 11 months, and 25 days since April 2023 for several firearms and property related offences, and multiple charges of failing to comply with court orders. When he was arrested, police found a .22 made into a zip gun beside the driver’s seat of his vehicle. Police also found an airsoft weapon modified to shoot .22 rounds. At the time of his arrest, he was on a release order with a curfew, and conditions not to possess firearms.
Parole documents reveal that while incarcerated, he was in possession of jail-made stabbing weapons on two separate occasions. He told authorities the weapons were for “personal protection.”
Pambrun has significant Gladue factors. His family members attended residential and day schools, he suffered abuse as a child, and witnessed family violence. He experienced poverty and neglect. He suffered many losses in his life, losing people close to him due to suicide, murder, and drug overdoses. He started running away from home at approximately age 12, but would always return out of concern for his younger siblings.
As a youth he began associating with gangs.
