Saskatchewan Health Authority declares COVID-19 outbreak at Lloydminster hospital over

The Saskatchewan Health Authority is ending the outbreak declared at the Lloydminster Hospital.

The outbreak was declared April 29 after the province announced a cluster of 13 COVID-19 cases at the hospital including five healthcare workers.

Dr. Mandiangu Nsungu, Medical Health Officer, has declared the outbreak over after the standard 28 day period has passed after the onset of the last case that had the potential to contribute to transmission in the facility.

The SHA says visitor restrictions remain in effect for Lloydminster Hospital as they are for all Saskatchewan health facilities.
