SASKATOON – A 33-year-old Saskatoon man is facing charges following an attempted robbery this week in Saskatoon.
At approximately 1 p.m., June 30, police received a call about a robbery in progress in the 600 block of Spadina Crescent.
A male victim reported that he had been sitting on a park bench when he was approached by an unknown man who demanded his phone and threatened him with a hatchet. The victim was able to flee and call police. Upon arrival, officers were able to locate the suspect.
He is now facing charges of robbery, and breach of court conditions.
