LA RONGE – La Ronge RCMP are asking the public for assistance in locating and identifying suspects in relation to an assault and robbery in La Ronge.
On July 3 at around 11:45 p.m., La Ronge RCMP received a report of an injured male in a vehicle parked on Morins Hill in La Ronge.
Officers responded and determined an altercation occurred between three men in the vehicle. During the altercation, one of the men was assaulted with a weapon.
The injured man was able to exit the vehicle and leave the scene. He was transported to hospital by EMS with injuries described as non-life threatening in nature.
Two men fled in the injured man's vehicle. Officers located the stolen vehicle in La Ronge but did not immediately locate the suspects.
As a result of the continued investigation, one man has been charged. A warrant has been issued for his arrest. La Ronge RCMP are asking the public for help in locating him and continue efforts to identify and locate the second male suspect.
Blake Roberts, a 22-year-old from La Ronge, is charged with one count, robbery with weapon, and two counts, fail to comply.

- Weight: 180 lbs
- Eye colour: brown
- Hair colour and style: black
