SASKATOON — A 28-year-old woman is accused of stabbing a 16-year girl Monday night.
According to Saskatoon Police Service, on July 6, at around 8:45 p.m., police were dispatched to a report of an injured person in the 300 block of Avenue M South.
When officers arrived, they located a 16-year-old female with what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries consistent with a stabbing. Less than an hour later, officers located a female matching the suspect description in the 300 block of Avenue C South where she was arrested without further incident.
As a result, the 28-year-old woman has been charged with assault with a weapon and breaching court-imposed conditions.
