ILE-A-LA-CROSSE – Île-à-la-Crosse RCMP are investigating a serious assault.
On July 4 at approximately 10:55 a.m., Île-à-la-Crosse RCMP received a report of an injured male at a residence on Elbow Crescent in Île-à-la-Crosse.
The investigation determined the male had been assaulted before he arrived at the residence. He was taken to hospital by EMS with injuries described as serious in nature.
Île-à-la-Crosse RCMP's investigation remains ongoing as officers work to identify and locate the suspect or suspects.
