A new court date has been set for a woman, who admitted to a death on the Waywayseecappo First Nation.
In July of 2023. Manitoba First Nation Police Service members were called to a home on the reserve, where they found a seriously injured 23-year-old man, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
27-year-old Talisa Brandon, of Waywayseecappo, was in Brandon Court of King’s Bench July 6, for manslaughter.
A pre-sentence report was previously ordered, and she will return to court on Aug. 31.
