SWIFT CURRENT — The case involving Ricky Manz, owner of the former Richmound school property where followers of self-proclaimed "Queen of Canada" Romana Didulo were encamped, was adjourned again Wednesday in Swift Current Provincial Court.
The Crown requested a one-week adjournment until July 15 to finalize discussions with the defence regarding potential trial dates.
The case dates back to September 2025, when Manz and Didulo were arrested along with 16 others in connection with incidents at the former Richmound school complex. Five people were ultimately charged. Charges against Didulo were stayed on March 18.
Manz continues to face charges related to activities involving the so-called Kingdom of Canada group, including failure to comply with an undertaking and failure to comply with a release order. A charge of intimidation of a justice system participant was stayed on March 18.
