CHAPLIN – Swift Current Rural/Morse RCMP are investigating a fatal rollover.
On July 20 at approximately 1:45 a.m., Swift Current Rural/Morse RCMP received a report of a semi-truck rollover on Highway 1, approximately six kilometres east of Chaplin.
Officers responded along with local fire and EMS. The sole occupant of the semi-truck was declared dead by EMS at the scene. He has been identified as a 26-year-old man, from Brampton, Ont. His family has been notified.
Swift Current Rural/Morse RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
