SASKATOON — Members of the Warrant Enforcement Unit have arrested a 16-year-old male wanted by police in Montréal, Quebec on a Canada-wide warrant.
In April of 2026, the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal contacted the Saskatoon Police Service to assist in locating a suspect in an armed residential break and enter in Montréal. The suspect was believed to be in Saskatoon.
Following numerous investigative efforts, members of the Warrant Enforcement Unit effected the arrest of the wanted suspect at approximately 1:30 p.m. on July 15 in the Fairhaven neighbourhood, in the 200 block of Fairmont Drive.
The youth faces numerous charges in Montreal, including break and enter, firing a restricted or prohibited firearm, possessing a loaded prohibited firearm without a license, knowingly occupying a vehicle with a prohibited firearm, two counts of pointing a firearm, careless use of a firearm, using a firearm while committing an offence, and conspiracy to commit an offence.
