REGINA — Regina’s Urgent Care Centre (UCC) is operating on reduced hours on Friday.
In a media release, the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) said the centre will operate from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Friday. Normally, the UCC is open from 8 a.m. until 9:30 p.m.
The cause for the shortened hours is physician availability and ensuring care is available for patients, explained the SHA.
The UCC will return to its normal hours on Saturday.
If a patient requires immediate care outside the UCC hours, they can call 9-1-1 or visit the emergency department at Regina General Hospital and Pasqua Hospital.
Patients requiring non-emergency care can call healthcare 811, visit a walk-in clinic or visit a local pharmacy.
