YELLOW GRASS — Emergency crews have been called to a collision in southeast Saskatchewan on July 24.
According to a news release from the Saskatchewan RCMP, members from the Milestone detachment are at the scene of a "serious" collision on Highway 39, just northwest of Yellow Grass. As the investigation is in preliminary stages, the RCMP said it does not have additional details to share at this time.
"The highway is currently closed for an undetermined amount of time. Detours are in place and motorists should expect delays in the area. Please slow down and follow the instructions of emergency personnel on scene," the RCMP said in the news release.
A post on the Yellow Grass Fire Department's Facebook page said it was a two-vehicle collision one kilometre from the community.
STARS Air Ambulance reported on X that a Regina-based crew had been dispatched to a scene call in the Yellow Grass area at 9:51 a.m.
