PRINCE ALBERT — The Prince Albert Police Service is renewing its request for public help in the disappearance of Robert (Bud) Wiggins who was last seen in Prince Albert on July 28, 1980, when his close friends dropped him off at a home in the 500 block of 11 Street East just before sunrise.
Shortly after his disappearance 46 years ago, Robert’s wallet was located along Highway 16 near Radisson and was turned in to the Radisson RCMP. His wallet contained $300 Canadian currency and a cheque for $67.60 made out to Robert Wiggins.
Wiggin’s daughter previously told the Historical Missing Persons Unit, “we will never stop hoping for answers as to what led to his disappearance.”
Wiggins also had connections to Calgary and Edmonton at the time of his disappearance.
Police said they believe he was a victim of foul play.
Wiggins was 5-foot-10 and approximately 180 pounds.
