PINEHOUSE – Pinehouse RCMP are working to locate an injured individual.
On July 26 at approximately 1:45 p.m., Pinehouse RCMP received a report of an injured male in a rural area between Pinehouse and La Ronge.
The investigation determined an interaction occurred between the occupants of a white truck and the occupants of a grey truck on Highway 165. During the interaction, a firearm was discharged, injuring the driver of the white truck. The injured driver was taken to hospital by EMS with injuries described as serious, but non-life-threatening, in nature.
As a result of the investigation, Pinehouse RCMP have determined there may be a second individual injured in relation to this incident. Police are working to locate the individual to confirm their well-being.

Pinehouse RCMP continue to investigate. If an imminent risk to public safety is identified, police say they will notify the public.
